For any incoming referrals for we do ask that all notes along with the Referral and Authorization are sent to our office prior to the appointment so the provider can go over the patient information and the patient’s insurance can be verified. If we do not have all the information at the time of service the child may need to be rescheduled to a later date.
For all patients being referred out by one of our providers, we will contact you with the information. To insure all the proper steps have been taken it can take up to a week for our referral specialist to contact you. Insurance companies have the right to deny referral requests from medical providers. If this happens, the referral specialist will contact you to discuss further steps.
